MGT 575 Information Systems for Managers (Prerequisite)
You will study how to analyze organizational information systems, apply a system approach to problem solving, and learn about computerized management support tools. This class may be a prerequisite to the IS concentration.

MGT 640 Information system Planning, Project Management and AuditingPlanning, organizing, controlling user services, and managing the system development process are addressed in this course. You will develop information system specifications and requirements. Application of IS plans to organizational needs will be expanded through case studies and exercises.

MGT 641 Information System Development
This course focuses on the essential elements of information systems development including technological, organizational, and interpersonal environments that impact as IS project. Emphasis is on the importance of IS supporting the vision, mission, strategic plan, goals and objectives of an organization.

MGT 642 Network Management
This course will address the fundamental concepts of the network environment, technological strengths and weaknesses of networking solutions, and future directions of the network environment. Infrastructure (fiscal, physical and personnel) elements will be examined in establishing, supporting and extending a network environment.

MGT 643 Management of a Database Environment
Data modeling, systems development, data administration and security will be studied as necessary components of database management. System analysis techniques will be applied to the database environment. Application of this discipline to meet organizational needs will be done through case studies.
