Admissions

University of Mary Graduate School acceptance must be obtained prior to acceptance into the specialty. To complete this requirement, submit the following items:
- Application for Admission to Graduate Studies
- Application fee of $40 (waived if U-Mary graduate)
- Official transcripts (including graduate and undergraduate courses from all previously attended educational institutions)
- Two reference letters (Use Graduate Nursing reference form)
- Statement of professional goals and expectation of study
- Resume
Upon acceptance by the Graduate School, admission into the Family Nurse Practitioner (F.N.P.) Graduate Program in Nursing requires the completion of the following:
- Record of Application and Acceptance to U-Mary Graduate School
- Complete F.N.P. Specialty Application
- Transcript of a Health Assessment Course (if not in undergraduate program)
- Record of Immunizations
- Verification of R.N. Licensure
- Qualifying Conference - interview
- Physical Exam Competency Testing
- Evidence of satisfactory completion of graduate level statistics course
F.N.P. Application Timeline:
- February 15th - All application material must be submitted
- March/April - F.N.P. qualifying interviews will be conducted
- May - Health Assessment competency testing
- June 15th - Notification of acceptance status
