Upon acceptance to the University of Mary, a degree plan will be completed for each student. A total of 128 credits is required for graduation from the University of Mary. The management core requirements account for 37 of these total credits, and a maximum of 64 credits are allowed to be transferred from a 2-year accredited institution of higher education. MGT 370 Transitional Leadership
Explore the sources of organizational change. Focus on managing change and envisioning an effective future. Build a clear awareness of individual leadership, change factors, personal and organizational reactions to change, as well as strategies to individually and organizationally manage change.

Use economic information to make proactive decisions. Focus on planning and finance skills. At the microeconomic level, examine resource allocation and pricing structure through analyzing demand and supply applications. At the macroeconomic level, analyze the GDP, the inflation rate, the unemployment rate, deficit spending, the national debt, and other economic indicators.

Use financial information to plan, evaluate, and control the use of resources in the organization. Focus on skills in economics and management. Examine generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, financial statements and the relationship between the statements, operating cycle of a business, and financial statement analysis.

Use information as a resource you can manage. Focus on your skills in understanding systems and communication. Explore the various types of information systems, benefits of electronic commerce and electronic business and the social and ethical issues that arise from managing a digital firm, how to manage knowledge within a business and how it enhances decision making.
