Program Learning Experiences

           ·    Philosophy-based curriculum implemented by experienced
              full-time faculty with K-6 teaching experience.

·    Participation in global experiences:

   o    Global Experience (Italy) 

   o    Global Experience (South Korea)

           ·    Participation in the Emerging Leaders Academy, a four-year
              program that focuses o
n the development of educational
              leaders.

 

           ·    Participation in mentoring and collaborative research
              activities with
full-time faculty.


          
·     Involvement in professional organizations (e.g., North
              Dakota Council for Early
 Childhood Education, North Dakota
              Education Association) as participants and/or
presenters.

 

           ·    Extensive practicum and classroom activities that help
              students develop the
 professional skills, attitudes, and
              knowledge needed to become effective teachers

              (student teacher portfolios).
