The University of Mary Division of Nursing provides high-quality, non-traditional education leading to a baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing. The completion program is designed for adult learners who have work experience and who wish to maintain their professional and personal activities while pursuing their educational goals.
In existence for 30 years, the Nursing Degree Completion Program at the University of Mary is designed for currently licensed nurses (L.P.N. and R.N.) seeking a baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing.
Combining proven academic practices with innovative instruction, the Completion Program provides opportunity for career advancement. The R.N. to B.S. program is an online program using advanced technology along with personable service provided by qualified faculty. The L.P.N. to B.S. program uses a Web-enhanced learning format to eliminate the need for students to attend daily classes. Students come to campus for an initial orientation and again a couple of times during the remaining two-year curriculum. The remainder of the program, both theory and nursing practice experiences, are often fulfilled in the student's home community.
