Welcome to the Humanities Division at the University of Mary, America's Leadership University. Students in the Division of Humanities receive a strong philosophy-based education that is built on the Benedictine, Catholic, and Christian tradition of the University of Mary. Humanities includes the disciplines of Music, English, Modern Languages, Communications and Art.
We are extraordinarily proud to prepare students in several majors as well as serve the needs of the entire University by preparing all students to engage in the world by expanding the student’s abilities to communicate, analyze, create and appreciate. We continually strive to remain on top of the professional fields.
Those who pursue careers as educators should know we are accredited by the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board and offers majors English and Music Education. We prepare teachers who have the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to succeed in today's world.
I encourage you to visit our webpages to gain a deeper understanding of the majors we offer at the University of Mary. Better yet! Contact us directly! If you have any questions about our programs, please feel free to contact me directly or any of our program directors.
