Homecoming 2008

Dear Alumni:

It’s time to mark your calendars for Homecoming 2008! We hope you’ll join us for a great weekend of friendship, football, soccer, and fun.

Friday, Oct. 3: Kick-off Homecoming with the Homecoming Dance, featuring the Johnny Holm Band. Complimentary tickets are available to alumni through the alumni office (701) 355-8370 or srdenise@umary.edu and attend the men’s soccer game as the Marauders play the University of Great Falls.

Saturday, Oct. 4: Our Saturday morning pre-game gathering at the Bismarck Community Bowl will feature great food and fun activities.U-Mary logo apparel and other items will be available for purchase. Then cheer for the Marauders as the women’s soccer team plays the University of Minnesota-Mankato State and the football team battles Concordia/St. Paul!

Sunday, Oct. 5: Share a special Eucharistic Liturgy and brunch with alumni, students, staff, family, parents, and friends and attend the soccer double header, featuring both a Marauders men's and women’s soccer game, before heading back home.

Accommodations for U-Mary Homecoming participants are available at the Expressway Inn, 200 E Bismarck Expressway at a special rate of $69.95. Reservations must be made before Sept. 25, 2008, to qualify. Call toll-free1 (800) 456-6388 and refer to the U-Mary Homecoming group.
 
As you know, the University of Mary is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2009 and the Alumni Office is planning an All-School Alumni Reunion for July 16-19, 2009. Mark your calendars and come back for a weekend of visiting and fun. Some of the activities already planned are alumni band and chorus concerts, picnic and street dance, and fun games for children. Watch for details the next couple of months in Momentum, other publications/mailings, the monthly e-mail newsletter, “Connection”, and on the University of Mary Web site.

In closing, we’d like to remind you that e-mail has become an important means of communicating with alumni. Our e-mail newsletter, the “Connection” is a great way to keep current on U-Mary news and events. If you want to receive it, we need your e-mail address. So, even if you cannot attend homecoming, please complete and submit the form below.
