Are you interested in helping others develop leadership skills? Do you enjoy presentations and being with people? Members of the Emerging Leaders Academy G.O.L.D. (Giving Others Leadership Development)
design and present at campus events such as the annual Harold Schafer Leadership Camp for high school juniors and the Emerging Leaders Honor Day Scholarship competitions, sharing leadership development activities. They also travel to schools, organizations, and conferences to help others develop specific leadership skills such as time-management, goal-setting, team-building, conflict-resolution, and group-facilitation techniques.
The G.O.L.D Team is a student-directed program. Juniors in the Emerging Leaders Academy practice their own leadership skills by leading and managing the group. |
