The operation of the Financial Assistance Office complements and supports the philosophy and mission of the University of Mary. We exist to serve the students and support their talents, hopes and ambitions. With this thought in mind, the Financial Assistance Office explores all scholarship, grant, loan and campus-based aid programs to ensure that qualified students find the funding to attend college.
The University of Mary provides four types of financial assistance:
Grants Grants are need-based aid for students, providing assistance toward college tuition and mandatory fees for undergraduate or graduate study. Grants are gifts of money that do not have to be repaid. For more information visit the Financial Aid section of our website.
Loans Loans are need-based aid for students, providing assistance toward college tuition and mandatory fees for undergraduate or graduate study. Loans must be repaid. The University of Mary participates in several federal student loan programs. For more information visit the Financial Aid section of our website.
Scholarships Scholarships are gifts awarded to students on the basis of academic achievement, need or other criteria. Institutional scholarships are offered to undergraduate students based on individual achievements such as academics, music, drama, forensics and athletics.
