Your success as a learner is important to University of Mary faculty and staff. An array of services is available to you at the University of Mary. Lifelong Learning Advisement and Course Support
An academic advisor is assigned to you the minute you enroll at the University of Mary as a student. Questions and guidance regarding program of study planning, policies and procedures, course registration, and completion of degree requirements are examples of areas that will be addressed by you with your academic advisor. Your academic advisor is available to you by telephone, electronic mail, and on the course Web site, throughout your course of study. Faculty for each course you take are likewise available to you for monitoring your progress, offering content assistance, and addressing questions. The team of advisor and faculty partners with you to promote consistent communication and academic support. A Community of Learners-Distance Education at the University of Mary
When you enroll in the learning community at the University of Mary, you join students, faculty, and advisors in a collaborative and interactive program of study. Our network of resources including 24-hour/7-day-a week technology support, allow you to share ideas and learning through a combination of Internet, e-mail, and faculty-guided discussions.
Welder Library
The University’s Welder Library has approximately 70,000 volumes of text and over 8,000 multimedia teaching and learning materials. The library subscribes to nearly 550 journals and newspapers. Full-text online indices are provided in both general and special subject areas.
Materials in the library are cataloged and fully accessible through the use of INFO*LYNX, an automated catalog. INFO*LYNX is a joint catalog listing the materials of Welder Library with libraries in the region. Students also have access to the collections at the University System Libraries and an international library network that provides automated support for cataloging, database searching, and interlibrary loans through access to nearly 56 million items. Textbook Service
You may purchase textbooks online from the University of Mary Bookstore or by contacting the university bookstore by telephone or electronic mail. Textbooks are mailed the same day your order is received and generally arrive within five to seven working days, intercontinental. You may also purchase your textbooks at any local bookstore or online vendor. Help Desk for Technical Support
Technical support, via phone or e-mail, is available on a 24-hour/7-day-a week basis. Staff of the Help Desk answer technical questions and offer assistance for technical and computer challenges. The Help Desk can be contacted by e-mailing helpdesk@myumaryathome.net or by calling (303) 873-0005.
