Am I required to have a meal plan if I live in the residence halls?
Yes, all students who live in North Hall, Hillside Hall, Greg Butler Hall, or Boniface Hall are required to be on a meal plan. Meals may be eaten in either University Hall or the Benedictine Center Cafeteria. Once your application for housing has been approved, you will receive information on your meal plan options.
What type of phone service is available?
Each room is equipped with a phone line and both local and long distance service is available. You should plan to bring your own phone.
Is Internet service available?
Students living on campus are provided free access to the University’s computer network which includes Internet access. The University provides this service to the point of connection at the data port. Students need to provide their own computer, network care and Ethernet cable.
How do I take care of my laundry?
All resident student at the University of Mary may do their laundry free.

Should I bring any furniture?
In the residence halls, the University of Mary provides bed(s), chairs(s), wardrobe(s), and desk(s), for each student in the residence hall room.
Are there quiet hours?
Residence hall quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning).
What are the open visitation hours?
Open visitation hours are as follows:
Sunday – Thursday 10 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Friday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 a.m.
Is there a cash machine available?
An ATM is located near the University Switchboard. Students may access the cash machine 24 hours a day!
