Trio Programs

What are Trio Programs? Trio Programs promote educational opportunities for low-income, first-generation students and encourage them to enter college, graduate and move on to participate more fully in their economic and social lives. Trio Programs are federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

Upward Bound - Challenge to Learn Support to Succeed
This program is designed to stimulate and motivate low-income, potential first-generation college students to complete high school and pursue and succeed in a program of post-secondary education.
Student Support Services - Promoting College Graduation
Our goal is to provide eligible students tutorial assistance, counseling, referral to other on-campus services and to off-campus services. In addition, personnel in this office arrange academic support systems for students who show potential for success, but have special needs.
