About Me

Growing up in a small ranching community in Watauga, SD, I was raised in a Christian and Catholic family. I came to the University of Mary in 2009 to run cross country and track. After competing for four years, I graduated in 2013 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and a minor in wellness. In 2015, I graduated with my Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and helping out on the farm and ranch. I live in Flasher with my husband Kyle our son, Jace, and our daughter Rylee.

Why I’m At Mary

When I am in the classroom, the hallways, or the Crow’s Nest, I want it to be known that I am faithfully Christian, joyfully Catholic, and gratefully Benedictine. I will do this by sharing God's word and spreading the light that he has placed in each and every one of us.

Expertise

When I was in grad school I started working as the educational graduate assistant for the athletic training program. Next, I started teaching adjunct, then part-time and now full-time as an instructor. I teach classes in the Biomechanics, Kinesiology and the Athletic Training programs. I enjoy teaching orthopedic evaluation and diagnosis as well strength and conditioning fieldwork courses.
