About Me

I teach civil and environmental engineering majors water and environmental engineering courses. Although I have been teaching these courses for over ten years, I always like to expand on the topics I cover, introduce new teaching mechanisms, and relate the material to other engineering courses and real-world applications. This keeps the lectures fresh and the classroom alive.

Why I’m At Mary

I love teaching at the University of Mary because I feel that I am a part of a bigger organization that has a historical clear vision of what education should be like. It gives me and my students this great opportunity to freely explore the truth with the entire amplitude of our God-given reasoning tools.

Expertise

My areas of expertise include solid waste characterization, energy potential of solid waste, biomonitoring of airborne pollutants caused by open combustion of solid waste, geo-environmental characteristics of landfills in Jordan, and route optimization for waste collection trucks.
