Jerri Jo Stramer DNP, FNP-c

About Me
I began my nursing career at St. Alexius in the ICU. The ICU promoted critical thinking and independent decision making as well as collaboration with other healthcare providers which led to furthering my education and pursuing a career as a nurse practitioner. Following obtaining my NP licensure, I have worked in acute neurology. I have become invested in stroke care and ended up teaching Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) classes at St. Alexius. Teaching ASLS fostered my other passion, education. Aside from nursing, I am a wife to Job and a mother to my daughter, Stella and son, Stiles.
Why I’m At MaryFortunately, I earned my DNP through the University of Mary and have been able to utilize both knowledge and skills learned from the exceptional DNP program. I am at the University of Mary because I want to be a part of a wonderful faculty that taught me throughout my graduate education.
