About Me
I'm married to Jeromie and a mother of two (Drew and Paige). I enjoy traveling, being outdoors (especially the Missouri River on our pontoon), and all things sports. In my free time, you can find me cheering on my children at various sporting events as well as my favorite collegiate and pro-teams. My favorite quote: "Character is what you do when no one is watching."Why I’m At MaryI’ve been a part of the University of Mary community since I was very young and it is different – in so many amazing ways. I felt it when I was young and when I was a student for seven years. I especially feel it now as part of the faculty. I’m blessed to work at a place that lives out it’s mission every day.
Expertise
I have been a part of the full-time faculty since 2010 and am the Assistant Director of Clinical Education. I am APTA board-certified in neurology. I am LSVT-BIG certified for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. I currently serve on the APTA-ND continuing education committee. I have worked clinically in acute care and inpatient rehab. My research agenda is focused on various aspects of balance training/assessment in healthy individuals as well as those with neurological diagnoses.
